Dear art friends,
We close the exhibition “Sedimente” by Bernd Wolf on Thursday 11th of January at 6.00 pm and would like to invite you to a final meditative encounter with his artworks about the subject of un-intentional painting, as well as to start together in a creative and peaceful year 2018.
Finally we refer once again to the project “Gästezimmer” – guest room.
A picture that lives as a guest at your place. You can watch it whenever you feel like. You select your picture as part of the project guest room and rent pictures for the period of 1 to 5 years.
You will notice, at some point the picture lives and communicates with you. The dialogue has begun.
To become a host, create a private or public space. For more information click here.
Only by giving the picture a place, at home or in public space can the project succeed. When the picture has found its viewer, it is painted to an end.
Bernd Wolf was a representative of the non-figurative painting in the tradition of abstract expressionism. He took part in exhibitions at the Frankfurt art fair as well as at international art fairs in the US, Japan and Europe. Bernd Wolf (* 1953 in Hofheim am Taunus, † 2010 in Berlin) studied painting and Theory of arts at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and philosophy at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University. His works are shown in widely known museums and private collections. We are looking forward meeting you in our space again.
